You’ll be responsible for managing crews, scheduling work, maintaining compliance, and ensuring projects run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Manage and lead a team of ~35 staff Drive team performance, culture, and accountability Workforce planning, rostering, and scheduling Conduct performance reviews and support staff development Identify and develop future leaders Operations & Scheduling Schedule jobs, allocate crews, and manage resources Track job progress and ensure deadlines are met Coordinate plant, equipment, and machine maintenance Manage materials and inventory (e.g. sand, cement) Compliance & Safety Ensure all site and employee compliance requirements are met Maintain accurate documentation (inductions, certifications, etc.) Uphold OHS standards and ISO requirements Promote and enforce a strong safety culture Client & Site Coordination Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Conduct site visits to ensure quality and operational standards Maintain clear and professional communication across all levels About You Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or similar) role within civil, concreting, or construction Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large teams Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving ability Confident communicator with a direct and professional approach Able to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities Tech-savvy with experience using systems such as Office 365, Teams, and job management portals (e.g. Samstra, Pegasus) Licences & Requirements White Card (essential) Driver’s Licence (essential) Heavy Vehicle Licence (highly regarded) Silica Awareness Training (desirable) Additional Information Based in Ingleburn with regular travel to job sites Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project demands Apply Now If you’re a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to step into a key operational role with real impact — apply today.
